Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth recently showed impatience with a reporter who asked him about political issues while he was busy with the shooting of his upcoming film ‘Coolie’. The incident occurred at an airport in Thailand when media personnel approached him with questions, including one about the recent sexual harassment incident at Anna University in Chennai. Rajinikanth, clearly irritated, responded by saying he should not be asked political questions, calling them irrelevant.
In addition to the media interaction, Rajinikanth shared updates on his 171st film, ‘Coolie’. He mentioned that 70% of the shooting is complete, and the next schedule will run from January 13 to 28. He assured fans that more details about the film would be shared soon. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, ‘Coolie’ is an action thriller based on gold smuggling, featuring Rajinikanth in the role of Coolie 1421, with Nagarjuna portraying Simon.
Other key actors include Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, and Sathyaraj. The film is being produced by Kalanidhi Maran under the Sun Pictures banner, with Anirudh composing the music. The recently released song ‘Chikitu Vibe’ from the film has already gained significant attention, adding excitement among Rajinikanth’s fans.
