With just two teasers, there is a record demand for theatrical and non-theatrical rights. Trade talk that over 80 crore offers for overseas rights. Three top construction companies have already been bidding in the 50–60 crore range for Telugu rights. But Sun Pictures is seeking a higher price. Trade scholars estimate that Tamil Nadu’s rights can get at least ₹ 200 crore. Anirudh Music, Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna and Upendra are taking the PAN India Range to the entry film.
Annapurna Studios was interested in the rights of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, but the deal was not yet final. Nagarjuna is playing a key role in the film. The film, which is slated to release on August 14, is already in public with a pre-release event in Chennai and Hyderabad. By the time of the film’s release, the ‘wage’ craze is expected to reach a high.
