However, amidst this success, there were some complications. Recently, PVR Inox multiplexes have temporarily stopped the bookings of Pushpa 2 movie among the fans. The controversy arose as Bollywood distributor Anil Tadani demanded that Pushpa 2 be allotted the same number of screens in the third week as well, while the PVR management had to allocate similar screens to the upcoming film “Baby Jaan”. Discussions between the two parties resolved the issue smoothly.
Along with this incident, one can clearly see the growing admiration for the character of Pushpa Raj. The combination of Allu Arjun’s acting, Sukumar’s directorial skills and Devi Sri Prasad’s music has brought this movie closer to the hearts of the audience. The Pushpa craze is not slowing down in North India either, which once again proves the stature of Telugu cinema across the country.
