Pushpa 2: The Rule has officially crossed ₹1,700 crore worldwide in its 33rd day of release, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. Despite a drop in earnings in India, the movie continues to perform well globally. On January 7, 2025, the worldwide box office collection for Pushpa 2 reached ₹1,707 crore, with an overseas collection of ₹269 crore.
On Day 33, the film’s Indian box office earnings saw a decline, with the movie earning ₹2.5 crore. This marks a 65.28% drop in earnings compared to Sunday, where it earned ₹7.2 crore.
In India, Pushpa 2 has earned ₹1,208.7 crore net by Day 33. The movie is now India’s biggest grosser in terms of net earnings, surpassing ₹1,200 crore, and has successfully established the ₹1,200 crore club at the Indian box office. The Telugu version alone has earned ₹335.41 crore, while the Hindi version has collected ₹793.2 crore, and the Tamil version earned ₹58.21 crore.
Despite facing competition from other new releases, including Mufasa, Max, Marco, Vanvaas, and Baby John, Pushpa 2 remains strong in the box office race. However, it is still far from reaching the record for the highest-grossing Indian film, which is currently held by Aamir Khan’s Dangal at ₹2,070 crore.
