Chandrababu Naidu Receives Anticipatory Bail

The AP government, led by Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, alleges that a scam took place during the previous government’s reign, with Chandrababu Naidu’s involvement. The CID registered a case to investigate this scandal.

High Court Verdicts and Court Orders

The AP High Court conducted a hearing on the anticipatory bail petition filed by Naidu’s legal team. Following arguments from both sides, the court granted anticipatory bail, safeguarding Naidu from arrest until the next Monday. The High Court also issued orders to prevent any further legal action related to personal appearance warrants and police custody.

Changing Investigating Officer and Ongoing Investigations

The AP government took a decisive step by changing the investigating officer in the Amaravati inner ring road alignment case, intensifying the legal battle. The CID alleges that key individuals benefited from the altered road alignment, and the case is currently under investigation by DSP Vijay Bhaskar, following the replacement of Additional SP Jayaramaraju.
