Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s highly anticipated film ‘Oji (OG)’ recently faced a temporary shooting break. The team had started an important schedule at Are Colony, Mumbai, with Pawan Kalyan and villain Imran Hashmi filming key scenes. However, the shoot was put on hold as Imran Hashmi was diagnosed with dengue and advised complete rest for at least a week by doctors.
Director Sujeet and producer DVV Danayya promptly informed Pawan Kalyan about Imran’s condition. Understanding the seriousness, Pawan and Imran mutually agreed to pause the shoot until his full recovery. This responsible decision has been appreciated by fans who are eager to see the action-packed sequences unfold.
The film’s music is being composed by Taman, and Priyanka Mohan plays the female lead opposite Pawan. Produced under the DVV Entertainment banner, the movie is scheduled for a grand release on September 25, 2025, coinciding with the festive occasion of Dussehra.
Pawan Kalyan’s gangster role in OG has already created massive excitement among audiences. The released posters and the catchy song “Alantodu is coming again…” have further raised fan expectations. Everyone is hoping for Imran Hashmi’s speedy recovery so the shooting can resume and deliver a spectacular cinematic experience.
