The Telugu film industry is buzzing with excitement as two of its biggest stars, Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan, are both gearing up for crucial international schedules for their respective highly anticipated projects. While Mahesh Babu is immersed in S.S. Rajamouli’s global action-adventure, tentatively titled “SSMB29,” Pawan Kalyan is diligently working on Harish Shankar’s “Ustaad Bhagat Singh.”
“SSMB29,” a visual spectacle by Rajamouli, has already completed a couple of important schedules in India, with initial filming in Hyderabad and later in Odisha. The team was originally slated to head to Kenya for a pivotal schedule much earlier. However, due to multiple reasons, including extensive paperwork and extreme summer heat in Africa, this highly anticipated Kenya schedule was delayed. It is now reportedly set to commence in July, focusing on intense action sequences amidst exotic landscapes.
Meanwhile, in a surprising turn of events, Pawan Kalyan has also decided to embark on an overseas shoot for “Ustaad Bhagat Singh.” According to media reports, the Power Star is scheduled to fly abroad tomorrow, June 17, 2025. This decision appears to have been made quite recently, leading to the preponement of a significant meeting. Before his departure, Pawan Kalyan will participate in a crucial meeting of the Telugu Film Chamber representatives with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, where discussions regarding industry development and issues between exhibitors and producers are expected to take place.
Fans are naturally thrilled to see both superstars expanding their cinematic horizons with international shoots, especially as both “SSMB29” and “Ustaad Bhagat Singh” are poised for grand releases next year. This parallel development highlights the ambitious scale of upcoming Telugu cinema, promising audiences a thrilling cinematic experience with global appeal.
