OTT Platforms: There have been criticisms recently that some OTTs are gambling with fake content by targeting teenage students and youth who go to school and colleges. There are complaints that adult content is being broadcast freely on OTTs without any minimum restrictions and they are seducing teenagers. But everything is under scrutiny by the Broadcasting Department. It is known that the laws regarding digital content have become stricter. Online – Control over digital content is now clear. That’s why some analysts are saying that the era of traditional OTTs is over.

The central government has recently put a check on some OTTs who hope to earn money with adult content. Check out the likes.. Hunters, Rabbit, Hot Shots VIP, Chikooflix, Prime Play, Dream Files, Extramood, Nuflix, MoodX, Mozflix, Woovi, Yesma, Uncut Adda, Trick Flix, X Prime, Neon X VIP, Fugee, Besharams etc. 18 B Grade OTTs Banned by the central government. Due to the violation of the rules of the Department of Information and Broadcasting in the matter of content, the authorities have received instructions from the government to take action against them.

Nowadays some degraded OTTs are circulating creating duplicate names of competing popular OTTs. Such things running with adult content will be checked. Recently, the percentage of audience who want to enjoy entertainment digitally is increasing. In times like this, the government feels that monitoring and control over OTT content is very necessary. Efforts are being made to formulate a special policy especially to protect children from spoilage.
