Kollywood’s small-budget gem Tourist Family, starring Sasikumar, has emerged as a global winner, grossing over ₹75 crores despite clashing with Suriya’s Retro. The comedy-drama captivated audiences with its heartfelt story and strong performances, securing its place as a box office success.
Initially slated for a digital release this week, Tourist Family’s streaming debut on Jio Hotstar has now been postponed to June 2, allowing the film to maximize its impressive theatrical run. Currently, no updates are available on dubbed versions for other languages.
Written and directed by newcomer Abishan Jeevinth, the film features notable talents like Simran, Mithun Jai Shankar, Kamalesh, Yogi Babu, Ramesh Thilak, and MS Bhaskar in key roles. Produced by Million Dollar Studios and MRP Entertainment, the movie’s soulful music is composed by Sean Roldan.
