SIM Card new rules
In India, no citizen can get more than 9 SIM cards in his life time, if he is found to have used SIM cards beyond the limit, he will have to pay a fine of 50,000 to 2 lakhs, and if he gets fraudulent SIM cards from someone else’s ID, he will be imprisoned for three years and a fine of up to 50 lakhs. According to the new Telecom Act, the government can shut down the network if necessary. It may also block your messages. Government can control any telecommunication service or network during emergency. Apart from this, towers will also be set up in private property after the permission of the government. It was approved in the Parliament in December itself and this is the 138-year-old Indian Telegraph Act in the country.
