Nara Lokesh, the Minister of Youth, IT, and Electronics for Andhra Pradesh, recently concluded a successful tour at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, where he represented the state’s interests on a global platform. During his four-day visit, he met with over 30 global entrepreneurs, participated in 8 roundtable discussions, and interacted with 9 international experts to promote Andhra Pradesh’s development and investment opportunities.
Lokesh’s agenda focused on showcasing Andhra Pradesh’s policies in industrial development, artificial intelligence, clean energy, and providing incentives to industrialists. He emphasized the state’s friendly investment environment, led by Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s visionary leadership, and highlighted the state’s growth potential, particularly in areas such as agriculture, healthcare, and logistics.
The trip also marked a significant moment for Andhra Pradesh branding, as Minister Lokesh engaged with global leaders like Microsoft’s Bill Gates and industrial magnates like Lakshmi Mittal. The visit showcased the state’s investment opportunities and solidified its position as a growing hub for technology and industry.
Additionally, Lokesh used the platform to honor the state’s traditional craftsmanship, particularly the Mangalagiri handloom shawls, which were presented to entrepreneurs and leaders as a symbol of Andhra Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage.
