Union Home Minister Amit Shah reacted to Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a public meeting in Jammu and Kashmir. He said the comments were “absolutely disgusting and insulting”. Amit Shah said Kharge’s comments were a “bitter display of hatred”. Kharge said that by saying that he would die only after removing Modi from power, Kharge had unnecessarily dragged the prime minister into his personal health matters. Mallikarjun Kharge’s speech shows how much hatred Congress leaders have for Modi.
Kharge fell ill at an election rally in Jammu’s Jasrota on Sunday but continued his speech after a brief break, saying he would not die until Prime Minister Modi was removed from power. “I am 83 years old. I will not die so soon. I will stay alive until Prime Minister Modi is removed from power,” said the Congress leader. “I wanted to talk. But I sat down because of dizziness. Please forgive me.”
Amit Shah was furious over Kharge’s comments. “Yesterday, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge ji outdid himself, his leaders and his party in being completely disgusting and insulting in his speech,” said Amit Shah. “In a hateful speech he unnecessarily dragged PM Modi into his personal health matters saying that he will die only after he is removed from power,” Shah wrote in X. He said that Kharge’s comments show how much hatred and fear Congress people have for Prime Minister Modi and they are constantly thinking about him.
“Regarding the health of Mr. Kharge ji.. Modi ji, I am praying. Let us all pray for his long and healthy life. May he live for many years and live to create Vixit Bharat by 2047,” said Amit Shah.
