Actress Lavanya Tripathi, fondly known as the “Mega Kodalu” after her marriage to actor Varun Tej, is returning to the silver screen with an emotionally rich and entertaining film titled Sati Lilavati. Directed by Bhimili Kabaddi Jattu and SMS fame Tatineni Satya, this film aims to explore the emotional dynamics between husband and wife through a blend of humor and sentiment.
Produced by Nagamohan under the banner of Durga Devi Pictures, in association with Anandi Arts, the movie is currently in its final stages of post-production. Dubbing work has already begun, and the makers are planning to release the film as a summer gift for audiences.
With Mickey J Meyer composing the music, Binendra Menon handling cinematography, and Satish Surya as editor, Sati Lilavati promises to be a quality family entertainer.
Lavanya, who rose to fame with her versatile roles and now enjoys a unique following after entering the Mega family, is being selective about her projects. This film is seen as a passion project and a carefully chosen comeback for the actress, post her marriage to Varun Tej on November 1, 2023.
