Director Nag Ashwin’s latest mythology sci-fi movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is creating a sensation at the Indian box office. As this movie is running successfully, director Nag Ashwin is interacting with the media.
On this occasion, a reporter asked, “Did Mahabharatham scenes have been put in the Kalki movie? What was the inspiration for this?” In response to this, Nag Ashwin said, “Telugu cinema is what we remember before Mayabazaar. That movie is also related to Mahabharata. But, actually those scenes are nowhere in Mahabharata. I also wrote the story of Kalki with the inspiration of that movie. In my view, both Kalki and Mayabazar are the same,” he said.
All in all, the fans say that the inspiration of the movie Mayabazaar for the movie Kalki is gratifying. Starring Prabhas as the hero, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani and others acted in important roles.
