A week after the attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan at his house, Maharashtra politicians, particularly the leaders of the ruling alliance parties, have expressed doubts about the incident.
Saif was attacked and stabbed at his Mumbai home last week, and police have detained a suspect in the case. Saif was brought to Lilavati Hospital on the night of the attack, and the doctors issued a statement saying they had performed surgery on him and removed the knife from his back.
Saif Ali Khan was discharged from the hospital two days ago, and the actor was seen walking energetically and waving to fans.
Today’s political slugfest in Maharashtra has led to misunderstandings about the case.
Maharashtra Minister Nitesh Rane has questioned the attack’s validity, claiming it may have been staged. He said Saif was ‘dancing while walking’, making him wonder if he was stabbed or if it was an act.
Ajit Pawar, Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister, also expressed reservations about the incident. He emphasized that the appearance signals no recent injury.
