Normally Sri Murali may not be known to our Telugu audience, but director Prashanth Neel’s debut film is now known to Salar as the hero of the original film “Ugram”. And “Bagheera” is a huge movie starring that hero. It is remarkable that this huge movie made with the story provided by director Prashant Neel is directed by the producers of KGIF Salar. And this movie which was announced at Pan India level is being brought in Telugu by Asian Suresh Entertainment LLP. Bagheera will release in theaters worldwide on October 31 this Diwali. On this occasion, hero Sri Murali shared the features of the film in a press conference. Let’s see what he shared.
Tell me, how did ‘Bagheera’ start?
Prashanth Neel gave the first story. I was asked to do this story. I like him very much. They gave a great movie like Ugram in my career. We became very close during the film Ugram. Hombale Films has come forward to produce. That’s how this project started.
Do you speak Telugu very well?
My mother-in-law is from Nellore. Wife and mother-in-law speak Telugu at home. That’s it (laughs)
We heard that he took three years of gym training for this character?
be yes Such is the character. I am actually a food lover. I like to eat chicken, mutton and rice. Biryani means madness. But these three years have been very difficult. I did very strict diet. I did a liquid diet. That is quite a challenge. This is a very daring and challenging character in my career. I worked very dedicatedly as per the demand of the character. A lot has changed in me in these three years.
Say for your director Dr. Suri?
Prashanth Neel gave the story. Director Suri has brought 100% of the story to the screen brilliantly. This story and idea have been brilliantly translated. Everything that this script needs has been executed brilliantly. It is a larger than life character. Content with universal appeal. The director got a very good performance from me. Personally, this is my favorite character. It was a great experience to work with a brilliant technician like Suri.
Apart from the story, does the film have the support of Prashant Neel?
When will I have the support of Prashant Neel? Everyone in the team is a discusser. Prashant Neil has a great vision. His perspective of me is different. He believed in me very strongly.
I have a sincere request regarding this movie, come to the movie with a blank mind. I request you to bless me as a new born actor. Ugram, Bagheera are complete different films. Everyone has a hero. I don’t know when that hero will come out. I believe that the audience will also feel like ‘Bagheera’ while coming out after watching the movie ‘Bagheera’. I definitely want everyone to come and watch the movie and support it.
About work experience of Rukmini Vasant, Prakash Raj?
Fantastic. I am a big fan of Prakash Raju. Working with him was a wonderful experience. I learned many things from him. Rukmini Vasanth is a very good heroine. Very sincere, very natural actor.
This is your first film in Telugu, the reason for bringing this film?
This is our production call. Made a very good movie. This is a must watch movie for the whole country. We are bringing this movie to the audience with that belief. I believe that I will get love and support from the Telugu audience.
About Ajanish Loknath’s music?
Ajanish gave the best music. He does different movies. Compared to other movies, this movie has very different music. The love track, emotional tracks and the music that drives the story are all excellent. Great foot out.
Ugram 2 has been announced… about your character in it?
Don’t let me know that. You have to ask Prashant Neel (laughs). I look forward to working with him.
