Young talented hero Kiran Abbavaram is a huge period thriller movie “Ka”. Nayan Sarika and Tanvi Ram are playing heroines in this movie. The director duo Sujeeth and Sandeep are making the movie “Ka” with the story of a village backdrop action thriller. The film is gearing up for a grand theatrical release in Telugu on the occasion of Diwali on 31st of this month. “Ka” movie is going to be released in Telugu by producer Vamsi Nandipati and in Malayalam by hero Dulquer Salmaan on his Wafer Films. In the latest interview, the hero Kiran Abbavaram told the highlights of the movie “Ka”.
– Our movie “Ka” is getting good support from the media. Thank you all for that.
The justification of the title of the movie is not my name, the title came about like that. What is ‘ka’ and what is the story of this movie will be revealed to you in the climax of the movie. When directors Sandeep and Sujeeth told this story, I could not imagine what would happen next. Just when I thought this was going to happen, there was another twist. With such a point, I felt that a new movie could be planned in the background of the 70s. The shot making by the director also seemed new. We believe that the audience will surely receive this story well.
– We have tried to tell the climax of the movie anew. No movie has come with such a climax till now.
That’s why I gave a bold statement that if you don’t feel the novelty, I won’t do films. Many are comparing the movie with Kantara and Virupaksha movies. But that will not be the case. It all goes down psychologically. No devotional points. The movie continues with the suspense of who is what and where. Every time three points of who what where trigger the audience. As it is a suspense thriller, we are afraid that those who have seen the movie on the first day will reveal the twists through social media. But we hope that all the media friends will give positive reviews that the twists are good.
– I came to the clarity of Vasudev’s character when directors Sandeep and Sujeeth narrated the story.
In 1977, I played the character of Abhinaya Vasudev, a postman in a village called Krishnagiri. Coming from a village, I could quickly relate to this story told by the directors with the background of the village Krishnagiri. As far as I know, a hero character who distributes letters in villages has not appeared recently. I prepared well for Abhinaya Vasudev’s character. How they talk in those days. How do you get along with them in town? I learned that.
– There are action sequences in the climax of this movie.
Fights on bullock carts, and running on the roofs of houses… We worked very hard to make these action scenes realistic. We are physically strained. When shooting, the whole place was covered with dust. In the case of the movie, it was physically difficult for these action sequences. We did it for the theatrical experience of the movie. The trailer does not show many characters as the story should not be revealed.
– The audience was disappointed with my last two films.
The content treatment of the movie will be new. That’s why we keep saying that our movie will be fresh. The audience watching the movie on the screen will feel that they have tried something new. The movie will be rustic. There will be fights and songs. We have revealed the suspense in the climax. We believe that it will reach the audience genuinely.
– If the story we have thought of is well connected to the audience in some language and the response is good, it will be an advantage here.
This is the aspect that will be included in the pan India release. We have planned a pan India release of our movie. Due to the release of their films in Tamil, theaters were not found. Even though we were sad, we accepted the situation. Dulquer’s Lucky Bhaskar is releasing on the same date in Malayalam. Since Dulquer is distributing it, we wanted to release it in Malayalam on the same day.
– Directors Sujeeth and Sandeep worked dedicatedly for the movie. They were very clear about work.
They used to plan what to do when they came to the set. Now they are sharing the work in post production as well. I worked very comfortably with both of them. They tried to create something new without taking reference from anywhere.
– The movie has two heroines Tanveeram and Nayan Sarika. Both of them are important characters. Tanveeram played the role of Radha.
She performed very well. Our characters are revealed through the character of Radha. Nayan Sarika will be seen in the character of Satya Bhama. She will be Abhinaya Vasudev’s love interest.

My marriage took place this year. The movie is about to release. Ka stands as a good movie in my filmography. For the last few days I have been in a rush for the release of the movie. Not spending time at home either. Ka will take a short break after the film releases grandly and gets good talk from the audience. I will take some time and plan the next movie.
