Indiramma House Scheme: Over 10 Lakh Applications Received for GHMC Housing Initiative

The Housing Department officials have reported that over 10 lakh applications have been submitted for the Indiramma house scheme under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). A total of 10.71 lakh applications have been received, and 7.50 lakh of these have already been screened. The remaining applications are expected to be examined within a week.

According to officials, ward meetings will be conducted in GHMC after the completion of the survey. A team of 2,249 personnel is currently overseeing the application examination process. Those who were unable to apply earlier will have the opportunity to submit new applications during these ward meetings.

The government has decided to construct 3,500 houses in the first phase for each constituency, with a total of 84,000 houses planned across 24 constituencies within GHMC.
