The Kerala police have filed a case against 30 individuals after actor Honey Rose filed a complaint regarding obscene comments on her social media post. The comments, posted under her Facebook post, were deemed disrespectful and offensive, prompting the actress to take legal action.

Honey Rose had previously shared a post on Facebook where she expressed concern about being defamed by an individual on social media. Following this, several offensive comments appeared under her post, which led her to file a complaint with the Ernakulam Central Police on Sunday night.

The police have filed charges under provisions related to making obscene remarks, which could result in a sentence of up to one year in prison or a fine. In her Facebook post, Honey Rose made it clear that she would no longer tolerate such behavior and called out those who use double meanings to ridicule women on social media.

While she acknowledged that comments from mentally disturbed individuals are often ignored, Honey Rose emphasized that this time she had chosen to take legal action. She also shared that she had been personally insulted during an event, which led her to stop attending any future functions organized by the individual involved. According to Honey, this person had intentionally used social media to defame her and insult her womanhood after she declined to participate in future events.
