Telangana Women: Telangana government has taken an important decision for the welfare of women. For the first time in the state, it has decided to provide uniform sarees to members of women’s associations free of cost. These free uniform sarees are going to be provided to a total of 63 lakh women community members. The designs of these sarees are specially designed. These designs were inspected on 12 December by Serp CEO Divya Devarajan and Minister Sitakka. Soon these designs will be finalized in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

Uniform saree distribution programme
After this decision, saree distribution program will be started for 63 lakh women community members. After finalizing the design, distribution of these sarees to women’s groups will begin. This program stands as a unique recognition for members of women’s associations. This move by the government is dedicated and respectful to the services rendered by women.

Telangana Mahila Shakti Scheme
It is known that “Telangana Mahilashakti” scheme was introduced for the economic development of women in Telangana. Under this scheme, women SHGs will get Rs. Lakh crore interest free loans will be provided. It aims to empower women financially and turn them into millionaires. Through this scheme, rural women are not only given financial independence but also empowered socially.

These sarees boost the self-esteem of women. Reflecting modernity along with tradition, these sarees bring more dignity to women. One of the important objectives of the Telangana Government is to boost the self-esteem of the members of women’s associations, to keep their proper self-esteem.
This decision is very encouraging for women’s groups. Creating new guidelines for the government in women’s welfare, this uniform saree distribution program leads to the satisfaction of women’s groups.
