Choreographer and filmmaker Farah Khan recently celebrated Farhan Akhtar’s 51st birthday by gifting him a nostalgic and heartfelt present. In an Instagram post, Farah, who affectionately refers to Farhan as her “little brother,” shared a video capturing the moment Farhan opened his birthday gifts. Among the presents was a collection of vintage vinyl records, including one from the 1981 film Kranti.

The video begins with Farah announcing, “Farhan’s 51st birthday present.” As Farhan unwraps the gifts, he bursts into laughter, then joyfully begins singing the title track from Kranti, a popular historical drama starring Manoj Kumar. Farah, amused, encourages him to explore the other gifts, but Farhan continues to sing, leading Farah to humorously comment, “These are all vintage. My god, he’s going to sing the whole song.” The playful moment is shared with Farhan’s wife, Shibani Dandekar, and his sister, filmmaker Zoya Akhtar, who giggle along as Farah films the moment.

In her caption, Farah expressed her thoughts, saying, “What do you gift your little brother who has everything? A piece of our childhood, of course! Happy birthday @faroutakhtar #capri9 keep the Kranti going #favouritefilm.”
