The third day of Income Tax (IT) searches at Tollywood producer Dil Raju’s residence continues, with 21 IT officials, including a senior female officer, involved in the ongoing investigation. Dil Raju, who also serves as the chairman of the Telangana Film Development Corporation, has been under scrutiny during this operation.
During the searches, an unexpected incident occurred when Dil Raju’s mother fell ill. His daughter, who works as an IT officer, rushed her to the hospital for treatment, with the IT officer accompanying them. After the medical attention, the IT officer returned to Dil Raju’s residence. In a later interaction, the officer attempted to hand her phone to Dil Raju so he could speak on it, but he showed visible impatience, particularly for not having his calls answered earlier.
The IT searches, which have now entered their third day, are a significant development in the ongoing investigations. Details of the search and its purpose have yet to be fully disclosed.
