Many of the women who are supposed to get two parts have already gotten them, but a lot of them still haven’t gotten even one. Several reports have been made, and the government says the wait is due to technology problems and mistakes made by applicants. Still, the government says that every woman who is qualified will get her Grilahakshmi money.
Gruha Lakshmi Yojana: 1.9 Crore Paid, 9 Lakh awaited
Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar talked about the problems that are still happening with the Gruha Lakshmi Yojana. This is the program where the government puts 2000 rupees into the accounts of women every month. There are still about 9 lakh women who have not been paid, even though 1.9 crore women have already gotten their money. Minister Hebbalkar made it clear that the delay is not because of a lack of funds; the budget for the Gruha Lakshmi Yojana is already in place, which means that everyone who deserves it will get their money.
To help women who still haven’t gotten their Gruha Lakshmi money, Minister Hebbalkar told them to go see the nearest officer or CDPO worker from the Women and Children Department. For more help, they should bring their Gruha Lakshmi application proof, bank passbook, Aadhaar card, and a copy of their food card. That way, women can find out why there was a delay and fix any mistakes they might have made by talking to these people.
