Superstar Rajinikanth.. Is classic director Mani Ratnam going to make a film again after 33 years?, Kollywood updates say yes. In 1991, Rajini-Mani Ratnam’s ‘Dalapati’ was a huge success. At that time, the movie got huge collections at the box office. But, after that why.. these two did not make a film together again. So, after 33 years, Rajini – Mani Ratnam combo is going to be set again. Talks were also held between Rajinikanth and Mani Ratnam regarding this film.
According to the current information, if everything goes according to plan, there is a chance to get clarity on this film on the occasion of Rajini’s birthday in December. Mani Ratnam is currently doing the movie ‘Thug Life’ with Kamal Haasan. And Superstar Rajinikanth starrer ‘Vettayan’ is ready for release. Also, Rajini’s other film ‘Coolie’ is in the process of shooting. Similarly ‘Jailor 2’ is all set to roll. After these movies Rajini – Mani Ratnam combo sets will go up.
