Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s four-day visit to Davos for the World Economic Forum concluded on a successful note, with a series of meetings and discussions aimed at promoting Andhra Pradesh’s brand image and attracting investments to the state.   • Day 1: On the first day, Naidu met with Indian Ambassador to Switzerland Mridhul Kumar to discuss investment opportunities in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and technical textiles. He highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s potential in the manufacturing sector and emphasized collaborations with Swiss universities.
  • Day 2: The Chief Minister delivered a speech at the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) on green industrialization and the Swarnandhra – 2047 Vision Roadmap. He discussed the development of the Global Leadership Center (GLC) in Amaravati and the state’s push to become a global hub for green energy.
  • Day 3: Naidu had significant discussions with prominent industry leaders including:
    • Google Cloud: Proposed setting up a design center in Visakhapatnam for server supply chain integration.
    • Petronas: Discussed a potential Rs. 13,000-15,000 crore investment for a green ammonia plant in Kakinada.
    • PepsiCo: Suggested setting up a global delivery center in Visakhapatnam for PepsiCo’s digital hub.
    • Bill Gates: Requested collaboration on health innovation and diagnostics, and the establishment of an AI University and health dashboards in Andhra Pradesh.
    • Unilever: Proposed a technology center for the beauty portfolio and a palm oil industry setup in the state.
  • Day 4: Naidu continued his meetings even during his return journey. He met Swiss entrepreneur and environmentalist Andre Hoffmann, UNDP’s Achim Steiner, and CNN’s Becky Anderson to discuss further developments and partnerships.

Naidu’s successful visit and extensive discussions with global leaders aim to position Andhra Pradesh as a leading destination for investments, particularly in the fields of green energy, industrial development, and technology.
