BRS future committee setup announced by KTR

BRS Working President KTR recently discussed the future of the party and its leadership under KCR, emphasizing that after 24 years of hard work, KCR is now taking some time to relax. KTR acknowledged his father’s wisdom in knowing when to step back and when to focus on crucial matters. He also addressed a key issue regarding the late PV Narasimha Rao, urging that a memorial be built for the former Prime Minister in Delhi. KTR highlighted that despite PV’s significant contributions, the Congress party has failed to honor him posthumously, and he vowed that BRS would continue to fight for his respect in the Rajya Sabha.

In his remarks, KTR also pointed fingers at Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, accusing him of acting as a shield for BJP MPs. He raised concerns about unaddressed scams, including the Amrit scam and civil supply issues, questioning the Center’s lack of investigation into these matters. On the topic of the ED raids at Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy’s residence, KTR accused the Center of protecting the accused, equating this protection to cooperation with the current government.

As part of his vision for the future, KTR announced the formation of organizational committees in 2025, alongside the election of the BRS president. He expressed confidence that the party would succeed in local body elections. KTR also conveyed his condolences for former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, praising his role in India’s economic reforms. He fully supported the proposal to award Manmohan Singh the Bharat Ratna, calling him the “Silent Architect of Modern India.” KTR acknowledged that the Telangana movement gained strength during Manmohan Singh’s leadership, and the reforms implemented during his tenure were pivotal to India’s development.

KTR also reflected on the lasting legacy of PV Narasimha Rao, expressing profound respect for him and reiterating the significance of people’s movements in shaping the future of the nation.
