Renukaswamy murder case: Kannada star actor Darshan and his girlfriend Pavitra Gowda have been granted bail in the Renukaswamy murder case. Karnataka High Court granted bail on Friday. Justice S Vishwajit Shetty heard the bail petitions. Five more accused Nagaraju, Anukumar, Laxman, Jagdish alias Jagga and R Pradush Rao have been granted bail in this case.

While granting bail, the court imposed conditions on the accused. It directed the accused not to leave the jurisdiction of the court, not to contact the witnesses and not to intimidate them. Court has already granted 6 weeks interim bail to Darshan due to health issues. Darshan is already out, except Darshan, the other accused are likely to be released from jail on December 16.
Darshan, Pavitri Gowda and 15 others are accused in the case of murdering his fan Renukaswamy. The murder took place when Renukaswamy sent obscene messages to Pavitra Gowda because he was close to Darshan. Renukaswamy was kidnapped from Chitradurga and brought to Bangalore by Darshan’s followers. He died after being chained and brutally assaulted in a shed in Bangalore’s Kamakshi Palya area. The case has become a topic of discussion not only in Karnataka but across the country.
