Anil Ravipudi Admits He Could Have Improved Key Aspect in Sankranthiki Vasthunnam

Anil Ravipudi, known for his back-to-back hits, is gearing up for the success of his latest film Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, which is on track to cross the ₹300 crore mark this week. The filmmaker, who has earned a reputation for delivering high-energy, engaging films, took some time to reflect on the process and admitted that there was room for improvement in his latest project.

In an insightful interview with Bharadwaj Rangan, Anil revealed that he felt there was a missed opportunity to infuse more comedy into the film. He specifically pointed out the potential of the character Bulli Raju, suggesting that it could have been used more effectively to bring in additional laughs and levity.

Anil also mentioned that he focused more on Venkatesh’s character’s internal struggles between his wife and ex-girlfriend, but believes that if the Bulli Raju character had been better utilized, the overall output of the film could have been even better. The director’s admission shows his commitment to constantly improving his craft and delivering more impactful, well-rounded films.

Despite this small miss, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam continues to create waves at the box office, and the anticipation for Anil Ravipudi’s future projects is only growing.
