Legendary Kollywood icons Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam have reunited after 38 years since their classic film Nayagan for the much-awaited gangster drama, Thug Life. The film stars Trisha in a lead role alongside Kamal Haasan, and the recently released trailer sparked intense discussions on social media about the 28-year age difference between the two actors.
In a recent interview with Mid Day, Mani Ratnam addressed the controversy, highlighting that relationships with notable age gaps are common in real life, regardless of gender. He urged audiences to avoid judgment and to better understand societal realities reflected in cinema.
