Allu Arjun who missed out on a 1000 crore film

Allu Arjun’s success with Pushpa and its sequel Pushpa 2 solidified his position in Indian cinema. However, despite the records set by Pushpa, the actor faced a bittersweet experience due to an unfortunate incident during the release of Pushpa 2. A woman named Revathi tragically died in a stampede caused by fans, and her son Sritej was severely injured and is currently hospitalized. The incident has led to a case being registered against Allu Arjun, causing turmoil within the industry. Despite the monumental success of Pushpa, the actor could not fully celebrate the achievement due to this tragic event.

In addition to this, there’s a story circulating about a major film offer that Allu Arjun turned down before Pushpa. The film in question is Bajrangi Bhaijaan, a pan-India hit that went on to become a massive success, both critically and commercially. Initially offered to Allu Arjun, the movie, which was based on the story of a man helping a mute child reunite with her family, was turned down due to his prior commitments. The film ultimately went to Salman Khan, who played the titular role of Hanuman devotee, Bajrangi.

With a budget of ₹90 crores, Bajrangi Bhaijaan grossed over ₹320 crores at the box office and went on to become the highest-grossing Indian film at the time, collecting a whopping ₹922 crores worldwide. The news of Allu Arjun missing out on this blockbuster has been gaining traction on social media, with many speculating what could have been had he accepted the role.
