Delhi politics, which is gearing up for the assembly elections to be held early next year, has now started revolving around Pushpa Raj. The real thing is that AAP released a poster on the dialogues of the recently released Pushpa 2 movie. “Kejriwal Jukega Nahi” is based on a dialogue from the film. In the poster, Kejriwal is shown as the hero of the film. On his shoulder is AAP’s election symbol ‘Broom’. The poster reads, “Fourth time soon”. Kejriwal-led AAP’s electoral victories in previous Delhi Assembly elections in 2013, 2015 and 2020 are mentioned here.

To counter that, the BJP’s Delhi unit on Monday released a poster showing party state president Virendra Sachdeva sitting on the throne as Pushpa, with the words ‘Let’s end the corrupt’ written in bold letters. Rappa Rappa’ is written on the poster imitating Pushpa’s dialogue. AAP is working hard to retain power in Delhi once again. However, the BJP leaders, who have been away from power in Delhi since 1998, feel that the upcoming assembly elections are a good opportunity for them to end AAP’s dominance in Delhi politics. Both sides are targeting each other through slogans, posters, memes as well as animated videos through various mediums including social media.
