Those who saw Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898AD remembered Arjun Das’s voice. Many have realized that Arjun Das dubbed for Krishna, played by Krishnakumar (Surarai Potru fame). Arjun Das, who felt honored to be a part of the film, penned a heartfelt note expressing his gratitude.
A few weeks ago, Swapna got a call and was asked to dub for Lord Krishna in Kalki. I hesitated until they told me that I would talk to Amitabh Bachchan. I heard Amitabh sir dubbing when I came to Hyderabad. I remember hearing his iconic voice and mimicking dialogues in school. It took me a while to realize that I share dialogues with him. After collecting myself, I started dubbing. Nag thanked Ashwin and Swapna Dutt for believing in him.
He thanked him for his lifetime achievement. Thanks to Vyjayanthi Movies, Swapna, Nag Ashwin, Prabhas garu, Amitabh Bachchan sir, Deepika ma’am, Kamal sir and everyone involved in the film for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful work.
