After the theatrical release of Mollywood Times, Jio Hotstar has confirmed that the Malayalam dark comedy drama will begin streaming on July 3, 2026. The film, directed by Abhinav Sunder Nayak, stars Naslen and will also be available in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi from the first day of release.
Mollywood Times arrived in cinemas on June 5, 2026, soon after Naslen enjoyed major success with Lokah: Chapter 1. The new film drew mixed reactions at the box office, with some viewers appreciating it while others felt it did not fully match the strong pre-release expectations. Even so, the movie has continued to attract attention.
The film has been noted for its technical quality and features a strong supporting cast, including Sangeeth Prathap, Sharaf U Dheen, Vineeth Sreenivasan, and Gopika Ramesh in important roles. It was produced by Ashiq Usman under the Ashiq Usman Productions banner, with music composed by Jakes Bejoy.
With its OTT debut now confirmed, Mollywood Times may find a new audience beyond theatres. Its digital release will soon show whether it can gain the wider response that several Malayalam films have received online.
