Rukmini Vasanth: Playing the villain in Kantara Chapter 1 was very dangerous

As of now, Kantara: Chapter 1, headlined and directed by Rishab Shetty, is the greatest grosser of Indian cinema in 2025. The film collected over Rs. 800 crores gross in its lifetime, rising as the second-biggest grosser in Kannada cinema of all time.

Rukmini Vasanth, who performed the feminine lead, shocked everybody by reworking into the antagonist in this prequel. The actress opened up about her function in a latest interview with The Hollywood Reporter India. She known as the act very dangerous in the early levels of her profession.

Rukmini Vasanth stated, “Playing the antagonist character in Kantara Chapter 1 was a very dangerous experiment in the early days of my profession.
