Star hero’s latest hit film to fall short of Rs. 100 crore club

Mollywood Megastar Mammootty not too long ago got here up with the crime thriller Kalamkaval, directed by newcomer Jithin Ok. Jose. Within the film, the legendary actor performed the position of a psychopath. Kalamkaval obtained excellent critiques from each critics and audiences alike.
Throughout its opening weekend, the film amassed round Rs. 45 crores gross. Therefore, there have been expectations in commerce circles that the film would surpass the Rs. 100 crores mark by the top of its theatrical run. Nonetheless, by the completion of its second weekend, Kalamkaval stood solely at Rs. 75 crores gross.
The film is predicted to add one other Rs. 10–15 crores through the the rest of its run, and the possibilities of reaching the Rs. 100 crores milestone now appear dominated out.
Vinayakan, Rajisha Vijayan, and Gibin Gopinath performed essential roles, whereas Meera Jasmine appeared in a cameo. The film is bankrolled by Mammootty Kampany, with music composed by Mujeeb Majeed.
