Review: Then or Now or Ever – A dull thriller drama

One of the latest movies released in the theaters this week is the movie “Appudo Ippudo Eppudo” starring young hero Nikhil. This movie, which was once completed, was brought suddenly. Let’s see how this movie is in the review.

Story:

Coming to the story.. Rishi (Nikhil Siddharth) dreams of becoming a racer. In that sequence, he falls in love with Tara (Rukmini Vasant) at first sight, but due to a miscommunication, he leaves for London. During this process, he meets Tulsi alias Chumbana (Divyansha Kaushik) Premantu. On the other hand, Badri Narayana (John Vijay), who is a local don, lends interest there with his right hand Munna (Ajay). And when they miss a device they need, Rishi enters it. And what is that device? What’s in it? You have to watch this movie to know what Rishi did.

It must be said that Nikhil impressed as always with his young looks is performance in this movie. Also, his dance moments in some songs are also good. Along with him, young heroine Rukmini Vasanth made her debut in Telugu with this film. And this can be considered a decent debut from him. Good looks and good chemistry with Nikhil. Also both are good to watch on screen.

It can be said that along with them, another young actress Divyansha Kaushik also gave a good performance. She showed off the gray shade given to her and impressed. And Viva Harsha’s comedy is good. Also comedian Satya and Sudarshan’s scenes are also good. Along with them, actor John Vijay and Ajay have played their roles. A few twists and comedy scenes are fine.

Minus Points:

It has been a long time since this movie was released but even then it may not be in the full engaging range. Although the main length is short, the story seems to move very slowly and boringly. The first one feels even worse.

Also, even till the interval, there is not much exciting stuff in the movie. It can be said that the high moments given by Nikhil in interesting thrillers in the intervening period are not present in this film. Also the second half is a bit okay but it also has a lot of week stuff. Except for one climax portion, the second half is also dull.

Logics in some scenes are also good. In addition to this, even though the villain’s character is shown well at first, it turns out to be a bit of a comedy. Also, this movie also looks like Swami Rara with routine scenes and the movie continues to be a bit dull.

Technical category:

The production values ​​in this movie are good. Stylishly set in good locations. Also Karthik’s music is good, Sunny MR’s background score in some scenes is good with stylish beats. Cinematography by Richard Prasad is good. Naveen Nooli’s editing cuts are okay, but as the film lacks much substance, he doesn’t have much to do.

And when it comes to director Sudhir Varma, he already has a good track record with Nikhil. Both of them got a good break with ‘Swami Rara’ but this film is also seen in that format. One then an idol now for a device.. these seem a bit regular. So all those moments in this movie are not so exciting. But some of the additions that have been made to suit the movie are good.

On the whole, this movie “Appudo Ippudo Epudo” feels like a routine action thriller. The main lead is good, some comedy scenes are okay, but this movie is a bit dull and boring. The director has to plan something more exciting for the audience for Nikhil. But with these, the movie feels below average.
