A recent episode of Balakrishna’s popular talk show Unstoppable stirred controversy among fans. During a chit-chat with director Bobby, Balakrishna discussed Bobby’s filmography. However, the notable omission of Jr. NTR’s name and the movie Jai Lava Kusa led to heavy trolling on social media. Fans speculated whether Balakrishna intentionally sidelined Jr. NTR or if the editing team of Aha streaming platform had removed the mention.
Bobby Addresses the Incident
Director Bobby has now clarified the situation, stating that there was no deliberate effort to exclude Jr. NTR’s name. “The show doesn’t involve such drama. Balayya asked me only about the movies displayed on the screen, and I answered accordingly. That’s all there is to it,” Bobby explained.
He added that certain discussions happen off-camera due to gaps in the shoot. “In one such gap, Balayya garu spoke highly of Tarak. He said Tarak would excel in specific types of films. Unfortunately, these discussions didn’t make it to the final cut because they weren’t recorded,” Bobby elaborated, attempting to defuse the controversy.
Balakrishna’s Admiration for Jai Lava Kusa
Bobby also revealed an interesting detail: Balakrishna has immense admiration for Jr. NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa. “Behind the scenes, Balayya garu has mentioned the film to me at least 2-3 times. He truly appreciates Tarak’s performance in that movie. However, such conversations don’t always translate to on-camera discussions,” Bobby noted.
“It’s a Family Matter”: Bobby’s Perspective
Addressing the uproar on social media, Bobby urged fans to avoid exaggerating the situation. “We’re making a family matter seem bigger than it is,” he said, emphasizing that there’s no ill will between Balakrishna and Jr. NTR.
