Actor Suhas is the hero of the film ‘Janaka If Ganaka’. Let’s go to the review and find out how much this movie directed by Sandeep Reddy Bandla has pleased the audience.
Story:
Prasad (Suhas) belongs to an ordinary middle class family. He lives a very simple life with his wife (Sangirthana Vipin). But, both of them are very happy and very mutual. However, Prasad takes a strict decision not to have children. Prasad’s opinion is that children should not be born when the best life cannot be given. Amid some dramatic developments in this sequence, Prasad’s wife loses her month. Prasad realizes that the main reason for this is that the condom he is using for family planning is not working properly. Prasad files a case against that company. And what happened to that case?, what kind of arguments were made in this case?, how did Prasad’s argument go when he was held to pay crores of rupees compensation?, did Prasad actually win the case?, or not? That is the rest of the story.
Plus Points:
The scenes written based on the happenings in the lives of the middle class in today’s society are good. Especially today’s couples have said very well that why they have to think about having children after marriage. Director Sandeep Reddy has tried to cultivate entertainment in the family story. With that, the comedy touch was well done in the movie. The way Suhas character is established from the opening is good.
Especially the scenes between Suhas’s character and his father Goparaju Ramana’s character and the comedy scenes are a plus for the movie. And the performance of the actors is also very good. Suhas who plays the lead role is convincing in his role. Even in serious situations, ‘Suhas’ has cultivated his role very well with his timing. Goparaju Ramana lived in the role of father. His performance is amazing. Similarly, along with Vennela Kishore’s character, his dialogues and gestures are very funny.
Sangeerthana was impressive in the role of a wife who walked in an emotional tone. Rajendra Prasad’s performance as a judge is very good. Murali Sharma, Prabhas Srinu and the rest of the cast also did justice to their roles in other pivotal roles.
Minus Points:
Though Sandeep Reddy Bandla’s plot, and Suhas – Goparaju Ramana’s roles are good, the story is simple and very slow at some places. Especially in the second half, at some places, the screenplay seems to be silly with a treatment that does not generate interest. Moreover the key scenes are not logically connected. Especially, along with the role of the heroine Sangeerthan, the characters of ‘Enjoy Company’ Taluk also have to be written strongly.
Also, the starting scenes between the heroines were also delayed. In fact, the philosophy of the hero who wants to give the best to the children or stop playing is good. It would have been better if the conflict was built around this point.. even between the families of the heroines. Overall, although the director elevated the content of the script well on the screen, he could not make some routine and boring scenes in the movie entertaining.
Technical Department:
If we talk about the technicians.. Sandeep Reddy Bandla is impressive as a director, but he is not fully impressed in terms of screenplay. The songs by music director Vijay Bulganin are not to be missed. Similarly, the background score also does not matter in some key scenes. If the editor had trimmed the unnecessary scenes tightly, it would have been a plus for the film. Cinematography by Sai Sriram is good. Producers Hansita Reddy and Harshit Reddy’s production values are good.
Verdict:
In this family fun drama called ‘Janaka Buti Ganuka’, some comedy scenes and Vennela Kishore’s comedy timing are impressive. However, things like the main treatment not being interesting, the second half moving slowly with boring play and some silly tracks hurt the outcome of the movie. Overall, some fun elements in this movie may please the youth, but may not please the rest of the audience.
