Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar Sabari Movie Review

Story : Sanjana is a single mother. She convinces the elders and falls in love with Arvind (Ganesh Venkatraman) and gets married. Later she leaves him because of the conflict between them. Later she takes her daughter Riya (Baby Niveksha) and stays in a rented house in another town. In this sequence, a mental patient named Surya (Mime Gopi) tries to kill Sanjana. Classmate Rahul (Shashank) helps her in this process. But why does Surya want to kill Sanjana? What is Sanjana’s past? That is the rest of the story.

Analysis: Director Anil Katz must be congratulated for the idea of making a psychological thriller with Varalakshmi. Because Varalakshmi has individual fans. So this story can reach more people. The first half of the movie is very racy. The scenes between Varalakshmi-Mime Gopi and the thrill factors have been worked out. The back story of Varalakshmi’s character is also done well. The story continues from the pre-interval block. The second half keeps the audience engaged. Be it the twist given in the climax, be it the action scenes done by Varalakshmi will entertain the audience. The music provided by Gopisunder is also a plus point for the movie. Both songs are catchy. The background score is also impressive. Producer Mahendranath Kundla made this film without any compromise. The work of cinematographers Rahul Srivatsava and Nani Chamidi Shetty is visible in every frame. Especially the entry scene of the villain Maim Gopi, the scene where he murders someone in his house, and also the accident episodes have been shot very well. The frames put on them are also impressive.

When it comes to actors.. Varalakshmi Sarathkumar’s role is very different from all the roles he has done so far. For many it is ideal. Single mothers in the community are more likely to relate to this role. For a person who is asked for commitment at the start of the film.. It may be the scene where she gives a warning.. It may be the dialogues there.. are very natural. If you see them, you can understand how much Varalakshmi has changed in her role. And Maim Gopi once again showed his mark of villainy. Shashank also did well. The rest of the actors also performed well.

Final word: ‘Shabari’ is a psychological thriller that entertains and thrills throughout. Family audience can also watch this movie happily. Available at Sun Next. Those who missed it in the theaters, don’t miss it here.
