Young heroes Prince and Naresh Agastya are acting in the movie “Kali”. This film is produced by the company “Rudra Creations” under the submission of famous story writer K.Raghavendra Reddy. Directed by Siva Seshu. Leela Gautam Varma is acting as the producer. A psychological thriller, the film is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on October 4. Director Siva Seshu told about the features of the film in his interview.
He has a habit of reading and writing literature since childhood. I write the script well. My desire is to become a director. I did business for a while but came back to the film industry which I love. I have worked as a ghost writer for some films. After that, I worked with Ashok, the director of Bhagamati, and Arun Pawar, the director of Saptagiri Express.
I have prepared a script titled Kali during the lock down time. They said that if they tell the prince, they will do very well. Gautham Varma has come forward to produce under Rudra Creations banner. That’s how Maa Kali movie started. But we faced some difficulties in the beginning. We thought of Jagapathi Babu as a character. However, the casting of Jagapathi Babu has not been set for the movie production. So I told this concept to Naresh Agastya. He liked it very much and acted in the movie.
After Kali Katha was ready, it took a year and a half for pre-production and casting. The film takes place in one location. We set it in Filmcity. The cast and crew team of our film is all young batch. We worked with clear ideas so there was no trouble anywhere. We happily completed the movie with team work. K. Raghavendra Reddy acted as presenter and gave us good support.
In our movie, we are talking about the fact that suicide is not the solution to the problems faced in life. According to a survey, 70 percent of people in the world think of suicide at some point. Shivaram’s character played by Prince in the movie Kali is a very nice guy. Due to his goodness he faces many difficulties. The soft one is played by the society. Shivaram, who is so good, thinks to commit suicide due to his problems. At that time a stranger comes to his house. This character was played by Naresh Agastya. The plot of the film is about what happened in Shivaram’s life after he came.
Even if the story is between two characters, the script and dialogues are very gripping, so the whole movie is interesting. Both Prince and Naresh Agastya performed superbly in their roles. Neha Krishnan acted as the heroine. Kali movie also has a good love story. Priyadarshi has dubbed the character of Balli. Also Mahesh Vitta and Ayyappa P Sharma both gave voice overs.

I made the movie Kali inspired by the character of Kali Purush from our Puranas.
