Ramu Weds Rambai, a small-budget movie that caught consideration with its intriguing trailer, has unexpectedly landed in controversy.
A particular shot the place the hero is seen hitting the heroine with a stick is being broadly trolled on social media, with many questioning the intent and messaging of the scene.
Producer Venu Udugula has now responded, urging audiences to not decide your entire movie based mostly on a single second from the trailer.
He clarified that the scene has correct context within the story and isn’t meant to glorify violence. Ramu Weds Rambai is ready to launch on November 21.
