King of content Srivishnu, talented director Hasit Goli’s upcoming hilarious entertainer ‘Shwaag’ has already created a good buzz among the audience. Producer TG Vishwaprasad is producing this film on People Media Factory. Ritu Varma is playing the lead role in this film and Meera Jasmine and Daksha Nagarkar are playing other important roles. ‘Shwaag’ will hit the theaters on October 4. In this context, director Hasit Goli shared the features of the film in a press conference.
They said that this is a Telugu movie.. and the reason for giving the English title ‘Shwag’?
After hearing the narration of this movie, Vivek said it was like a Telugu movie and asked what the title was. He was surprised when he said ‘Swag’. There is a reason why Accha feels like a Telugu movie. It contains a lot of rooted content. We have touched different generations in this. Singa Character Present Generation. Also has a 90’s character. Going further than that there is a character of 70. This is a script made with the idea of going further.. let’s go as far as the root man is concerned. This is the story of a clan. Every generation has a character of Vishnu.
What kind of message does it contain?
This is not a movie made for message. The male-female conflict has existed since time immemorial. will be forever. Vamsa was forever. Linking these two looked very exciting. The matriarchal system is seen here and there. It was interesting to explore it. It is not a message, but it is a story made with the idea of how male-female conflict has changed over the generations and what is its relevance till now.
About the characters of Yayati and Bhavabhuti?
The name Yayati is the same as in Puranas. A king of the Yadu dynasty. In this movie, we wanted to give the names rhythmically. That’s why we named the characters Bhavabhuti and Yayati. In this four characters have same importance. It is very interesting to see what kind of story these four characters are going to tell together.
There are four characters in all.. How is the screenplay?
We have taken a lot of care in the screenplay. While writing this story, we wanted to tell it so that everyone can understand it. The screenplay is very engaging. There will be no confusion for the audience. There will be fun desired from Vishnu. That fun also happens very organically in the story. There is no clash of fun and story in this. The interval block is amazing.
About Ritu Varma’s character?
Ritu has a strong lady screen persona. Vindhyamara Vamsani is seen as Rani. We thought it would be perfect if she did this character. Performed very well.
How did Sri Vishnu prepare for getups?
Not only for Shri Vishnu.. All our team are new to doing a story with such getups. We all took it as a challenge and made the film. Shri Vishnu performed very energetically. Apart from Vishnu, his characters were seen. Effort was made to move the story forward. Bhavabhuti’s character surprised me a lot. Yayati’s character connects to everyone.
What is Mirajasmin’s character like?
This is a memorable character. She liked this story very much. He said that he did not expect such a film to come out in Telugu.

We worked together for ‘Rajaraja Chora’. The background score is Vivek Sagar’s biggest strength. That will be amazing in this movie. Engages the audience.
