The case involving Allu Arjun in connection with the tragic stampede near Sandhya Theater during the Pushpa 2 benefit show continues to generate significant attention. The incident led to the death of a woman named Revathi, and her son is still receiving treatment in the hospital.
In the aftermath of the incident, Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13 by the Chikkadapally police, taken to a police station, and questioned. Following medical tests at Gandhi Hospital, he was presented in the Nampally court, where he was remanded for 14 days and subsequently shifted to Chanchalguda Jail.
However, Allu Arjun filed a quash petition in the High Court, seeking to dismiss the case filed against him. The High Court granted him interim bail until December 30. The suspense now continues as the Nampally court is set to deliver a verdict on Allu Arjun’s bail petition today.
The police have already filed a counter-argument against the bail, while Allu Arjun’s legal team has made their case for his release. The public prosecution has opposed the bail plea, and the court’s decision is eagerly awaited.
