Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes Movie Review in Telugu

Story:

Coming to the story… Om Prakash (Vennela Kishore) known as Sherlock Holmes works as a detective in Srikakulam. In this order, he is challenged to solve a murder case in Vizag. But in this case he marks all seven suspects as Balakrishna (Ravi Teja Mahadasyam) and Bhramaramba (Ananya Nagalla) and Ramesh Patnaik (Prabhakar) and others. And who died in that murder? Are they really related to these seven? Why did you kill? You have to watch this movie to know whether Om Prakash has really solved this case or not.

Not only a comedian but also a good actor, Vennela Kishore has given solid performances in many films. Also, in this movie too, I have to say that he is set perfectly in the role of a detective with a comic touch. It must be said that he has cultivated the emotions required in the context of a good comedy timing investigation.

It can be said that he provided good entertainment in the movie especially in his Srikakulam accent. Also his role will impress more in the second half. We can say that our Telugu grandmother Ananya Nagalla shined in her role. She has done well in two different shades of her role. Especially at one time his role seems to be irritating to the audience.

It means that she has given that range peak performance. She continues to improve herself as an actress. Also Ravi Teja, Prabhakar, Bhadram and others who played other important roles did justice to their roles. Also some thrill elements investigation scenes and comedy scenes in the movie are good.

Minus Points:

Usually this kind of crime thriller films need an interesting plot with some unexpected twists but in this film it looks week to say the least. Also, it would be good if the suspense factor of who is the killer is held for a long time and revealed in the movie, but the story in this one is predictable.

Also the first off story in the movie seems a bit slow. Also the comedy is not very funny at some places. It would have been better if more care had been taken in the screenplay and the story would have been moved faster. Most of the movie seems to move slowly. Also there are flaws in some of the characters. Anish Kuruvilla, Siya Gautham and some others will be seen in the movie without matching the original dubbing. Dialogues seem to miss match at many places. No care was taken in these.

Technical category:

The production values ​​are good in this film. In the technical team, Gyani and Sunil Kashyap’s music is fine. The background score could have been better designed. Cinematography by Mallikarjuna is good. Editing should be better. When it comes to the director Mohan, it must be said that the confidence shown in his statement is lacking in the film. If the movie had been designed with depth emotions and good thrill moments, the result of this movie would have been different. Needless to say, his work with these is very flat for this film.

Verdict:

Overall, Vennela Kishore and Ananya Nagala shined in this “Srikakulam Sherlock Holmes”. Some comedy scenes and investigation scenes are okay but the solid elements needed for a spy or detective crime thriller are a little lacking. If strong emotions, gripping narration and good twists were added, this Sherlock Holmes would have been more entertaining. So till some places this detective seems ok.
