Shyam Prasad Reddy, the head of Mallemala Entertainments, who has produced many hit movies in Tollywood, has experienced a great tragedy. His wife Varalakshmi (62) passed away on Wednesday. She has been suffering from cancer for some time and is undergoing treatment. In this order, she breathed her last while undergoing treatment on Wednesday at 8.25 pm.
Shyam Prasad Reddy and Varalakshmi have two daughters Deepthi and Maithri. Varalakshmi is the daughter of late former Chief Minister Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy. Her last rites will be held at Mahaprasthan in Jubilee Hills at 3 pm on Thursday, family members said. Many Tollywood celebrities are mourning her death.
Shyam Prasad Reddy produced movies like Ammoru, Anji, Arundhati under Mallemala Entertainments banner. He is producing many successful TV shows like ‘Jabardasth’ and ‘Dhi’ on the big screen.
