External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar arrived in Kyiv on a high-stakes diplomatic mission to Ukraine, following up directly on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s earlier peace messages aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict with Russia.

During his high-profile visit spanning from September 3 to September 5, the Indian minister held crucial bilateral talks with Ukrainian counterparts to discuss pathways toward a lasting resolution and expanded regional cooperation.

Addressing the diplomatic situation directly in Kyiv, Jaishankar firmly stated that New Delhi is fully prepared to assist in ending the brutal war in any manner possible, assuring Ukrainian officials that India stands ready to help.
