All-rounder Abid Mushtaq delivered a standout performance to guide North Zone into the semi-finals of the Duleep Trophy, dismantling the opposition lower order alongside Nishant Sindhu.
Abid Mushtaq Shines Brightly
Mushtaq and Sindhu efficiently wrapped up the West Zone tail after earlier contributions from Arshdeep Singh and Mushtaq established a crucial first-innings lead for North Zone at the crease.
Despite a valiant high-risk innings by Musheer Khan, West Zone faltered late in the match as the North Zone bowling attack struck with crucial breakthroughs to keep control.
Elsewhere in the tournament, East Zone dominated their fixture with a resounding victory over North East, while Yash Dhull struggled once again to find his rhythm with the bat.
