Kollywood star hero Chiyan Vikram starrer Pan Indian film Thangalan is going to have a grand release on 15th August. Directed by P. Ranjith, this movie is based on some real events that happened in Kolar Gold Fields. This period drama also stars Malavika Mohanan. Some of the scenes related to her character in the trailer surprised many. Malvika shared an interesting incident that happened during the shooting of this movie in an interview.
Malavika said that one day while getting ready for the shoot, a big buffalo suddenly appeared on the set. Ranjit sir saw me and asked if I liked that buffalo. I said that was a good buffalo. He asked me to go and sit on it. I thought I was joking. I told Ranjit sir I can’t sit on it. I wasn’t told about that scene beforehand, so I was surprised. In the end, they said that they are sitting on that buffalo.
Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pashupathi, Daniel Caltagirone, Sampath Ram and Hari Krishnan played important roles in it. Neelam Productions, Studio Green and Jio Studios have jointly produced this film. Music composed by GV Prakash Kumar.
