When composer Ilayaraja tried to enter the Artha Mandapam in front of the Srivilliputtur Andal Sanctum sanctorum to have a darshan of Lord Ilayaraja, he was stopped by the jeer present there. With this, Ilayaraja stood near the steps of Artha Mandapam and accepted the temple etiquette. Musician Ilayaraja was not allowed to enter the Artha Mandapam of Sri Villiputtur Andal Temple which created a commotion. Netizens are expressing their anger saying that this is the honor given to the musician who glorified the Lord in many songs. Ilayaraja, who is close to 50 years in the film industry, has composed music for more than a thousand films in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages.
