Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, who also serves as the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, continues to prove that he’s conscious of the influence he holds. As his upcoming historical action drama Hari Hara Veera Mallu (HHVM) gears up for release, Pawan recently intervened to prevent a possible controversy surrounding the film’s latest single.

According to music director MM Keeravani, Pawan Kalyan objected to a few controversial and objectifying lyrics in the film’s fourth song, titled Tara Sitara. Upon listening to the track, which is said to be an item song, Pawan immediately requested the team to make changes to the lyrics, emphasizing the importance of maintaining cultural sensitivity and respecting public sentiments.

Keeravani appreciated Pawan’s timely input and praised his social responsibility, pointing out how many in the industry deliberately court controversy for publicity. “Instead of leveraging the controversy, Pawan Kalyan chose dignity,” said Keeravani during a recent press interaction. This mature gesture has been well received by fans and media alike.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu is directed by AM Jyothi Krishna and Krishna Jagarlamudi, and produced by AM Rathnam. The film stars Pawan Kalyan, Bobby Deol, Niddhi Agerwal, and Anasuya Bharadwaj in key roles. The much-awaited film is set to release in cinemas on June 12, 2025, and the updated version of Tara Sitara will be released soon.
